I currently have a Pio 108 and Litew-On 1633 and am looking to replace the Lite-On unit as it has alot of problems reading some discs. I want to use the Pio 108 for playback and the new unit (either the 100 or 610) for recording. I've read a number of issues with the 110 and was wondering how good/bad the 610 is in comparison. Any suggestions?

Pioneer DVD writers are usually always great quality. Even lesser quality brands like Lite-On and NEC are rock solid. Should not have much issues with either pioneer burner, but it could'nt hurt to look at the reviews to see which is slightly better.
I recommend buying from newegg.com,its a great place with good prices and its EASY to return stuff your not satisfied with.User reviews are usually good on stuff as well.
