I have over a 1000 VHS tapes, mostly boxing.
VCRs are becoming harder to find, I'm thinking of buying one just to keep in the closet for when my main vcr dies. Anyone else thinking the same or already have one in storage ?

Everyone else is thinking of converting their VHS to DVD.
That said, I have about 15 VCRs hanging around the house, so I'm not too worried. -
With all the tapes I have its been a challenge converting them to DVD. I thinking by the time I converted all of em, DVD will be an old technology.

Get a bunch of people to go to the Black Friday sales and pick up some DVD recorders, and then hook up vcr1 to recorder 1, vcr2, to recorder2, etc.. Then do multiple vhs's at once. You can pick up DVD recorders for around $80.00 on sale.
