I'm trying to capture LP vinyl to my hd using Audacity through a the M-Audio card.. I hear the audio fine.. But Audacity is not recognizing the card and I can't capture/record?? I tried updated drivers, made sure my line in was activated (and not muted). Any suggestions how do I get Audacity to work with the card? thanks.

If you haven't seen them, there are guides and FAQs here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/documentation

Thanks much.. I did go over all FAQ's, troubleshooting, tips.. and still nothing.. I've adjusted all settings in Audacity to reflect M-Audio card.. I've selected line input of the card, made sure it wasn't muted.. checked M-Audio card settings, etc.. ??? When I hit record in Audacity, all i get is a flat line (even with line input selected).. very frustrating..
I was able to record from the onboard audio easily prior to installing M-Audio card.. I've shot an email to Audacity help.. but thought I'd give it a shot over here too in case someone else had encountered the same issue..
