    i have purchased a dvd and want to back it up but when i tried with clonedvd i get a message saying unable to copy APS (analogue protection system) how do i go about this, thanks.

    You need AnyDVD running in the background with CloneDVD. Alternatively backup with DVDShrink, DVD Decrypter or DVDFab Decrypter (all freeware).

    as thegeeman's post above but I'd try DVDFab Decrypter first as it's free and regularly updated

    it don't work with decrypter or clonedvd, had to do it with shrink, thanks for your help though.
