  1. I'm trying to backup my He-Man Season 1 set and Disc 1 went fine in DVD Shrink, but DRM caused it and DVD Decrypter to not work on Discs 2 & 3.

I downloaded DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.5.2 and Disc 3 ripped a bit slower than either Shrink or Decrypter would've done it, but it worked.

However on Disc 2 it's extremely slow. I'm talking about hours. I let it run when I went to bed and 6 hours later it didn't finish. It was still grinding away and actually working, but at less than a snail's pace.

I had to stop the process and the disc was almost hot from spinning away so long. I know that's not good for either the disc or the drive, so I'm loathe to try it again.

Oh and I also tried AnyDVD with DVD Shrink, and that didn't do squat.

Anyone else have a similar problem, or have heard of this happening?

i'd imagine your drive is getting pretty warm after hours and hours of operation. I wouldn't continue allowing the drive to do this as you will surely reduce it's lifespan.

Yeah I downloaded DVDFab for the first time to use on Disc 2 & 3, so it's the latest.

The discs play fine on my home player. My PC drive has never had a problem like this ever before. I've even DVD Shrink'd stuff after this that didn't choke the program with DRM.

Like I said in my original post, I know it's bad and I'm definitely not going to be doing it again.

I'm surprised AnyDVD didn't help . Maybe you could report it at their forums as they may have a solution or even come up with a fix
