  1. I have a bunch of JPEG photos from my digital camera. I wanna make a video slide show with a bunch of video effects and all that.

    How can I make the JPEG still images into short still video clips?

    Basically, I just want a video of each image.

    Picturetotv is what I would go for plus the mpeg2 codec.

    I have hundreds & hundreds of photos that have been converted to slideshows (with nice panning,cropping,zooms etc) and added many songs so they become more than just a "ho hum photo album"

    A number of authoring softwares can create slideshows. They should be able to control things like the time between switching images, transitions, etc etc.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    I second Proshow Gold, it is awesome.
    For a no cost option, Windows Moviemaker also can do this kind of thing.
