I'm thinking of getting one. Newegg has an oem GSA-4167B for $44.
Please tell me how to use bitsetting with this drive. I currently have a Liteon 411s, to use bitsetting I open a dvd bitsetting utility, query the drive, and change the bookmark...which sets it for the duration of the session. This makes it possible to use the writing software in TMPGenc DVD Author, Ulead VideoSTudio and others besides Nero.
Is this how it is done with the LG? Can it be set permanently? Do I have to use Nero every time in order to use the bitsetting feature?
Thanks for your help.

I have an earlier model the 4163B and it can be set for bitsetting/book type in Nero (permanently) or DVD Decryptor (Tools->set Book Type) but will revert back to +R if the computer is reboot for Decryptor.
