If you want a printing headache, use CIS on your printer!

My one data point .... the X10 brand of transmitter and receiver doesn't remove macrovision.

I am refering to a transmitter that uses UHF signal, and recieves the signal like a television station transmittes. So all would be needed would be the transmitter, because tv/vcrs have a UHF reciever built in.
thanks for all help; POOL

Your brightnesss will go UP and DOWN when transmitting a macrovision signal

Such devices are illegal ... at least they are here in the UK ... not sure about in the US tho. there are other devices that can be used tho that require a transmitter and reciever ... niether type of device will defeat macrovision as it is encoded within the video signal, however you could use a macrovision defeating device connected between the VCR/DVD and the transmitter

using the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 I bought and installed the other day.
I also recieved the uhf wirless transmitter and was dissapointed, very poor quality at the recieving end.
A big thumbs up on the PCI card...

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I would have told you that transmitter is a worthless toy.
