I am ripping all my VHS tapes to digital and my Creative Video Blaster is freaking out on the few tapes I have that feature Macrovision copy protection (like my 20 year old high school graduation tape!)

What is the cheapest / best thing to buy now that deals with this? I would of bought a Sima CT-XXX but it seems those are off the market now.

The problem you are facing is quite normal, the DCMA requires that the devices detect copy protection. Many devices pre-DCMA didn't bother to look for it.

Hauppauge PVR-150, Aver TV Stereo never see CGMS or MV - never a flag. For the DVD recorders, I use a Datavideo TBC.
