  2. Well, answer some questions first...

Do you want a small portible one? Like one that'll hold 32 or 64 megs?

Do you want a portible MP3 jukebox? Like one that'll hold 6 Gigs of songs?

Or do you want one that'll play MP3 CDs? The advantages of that is that you can hold limitless MP3s, and organize them onto CDs. Though you will have to switch CDs when you want a song not on your CD.

Do you want something for jogging? For listening to at home? For listening on a car? Etc... all these things will affect your decision too.

  3. Hey
I want a small mp3 player that has the most memory available and with the best quality and is under $250.
A mini disc player would be good too.
    Thankx

  4. Here's your two choices:

$65.92 - Audiophase Portable CD Player with Integrated MP3 decoder

    $249.99 - ARCHOS Jukebox 6000 Extended-Capacity Digital Audio Player — 6000

Just make a decision what you want... the cheaper one is more versitile in that it's only limited to the amount of CDs you want to have. Even one CD will hold 150-200 songs, so you'll be fine. I'd get the portible MP3 CD player, it's not worth an extra $200 for the one that holds 6 Gigs at once.

  5. ...For Christmas my parents just bought me a 128MB INtel Pocket Concert. I have to say it is great. If you buy it at Best Buy you can get a $50 mail in rebate if you buy and extra stuff pack. I recommend that because it comes with cradle which you can hook up to a electrical outlet to charge it, a home stero system and the USB port on your PC>

  6. Something like that is fine if you're going to be working out or jogging...

For the price of them, I'd SAVE money by getting the cheaper MP3 CD player... portible, hooks up to your car, holds 150-200 songs on one CD (even a 128 Meg one can only hold 30-40 songs)... etc.

Sorry, didn't mean to dog your gift, but just what I'd prefer.

  10. Forget the IPOD, if you're going to get that, get the 6 Gig one that is cheaper. I think Office Depot has a sale on the 6 Gig one, it's down to $179.99. But personally, I'd go for the portible CD player. They're awesome. I've had one for over a year, each CD has a theme... all in all, a great deal.
