  1. First, I think its WinDVD Creator 1 since it does not specify if it is 1 or 2.

Second, I've used it to capture several videos, so I know it works...but suddenly, it stopped working. It doesn't record anymore. When I click on "Record" & select a file name, its just not recording, and it doesn't change the "Record" button to a "Stop" button like it normally does.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas what happened & how can I fix it?

  2. After playing with things some more, including re-installing WinDVD Creator to no avail, all I can come up with is that maybe if the a/v cables have died, it might "tell" the software not to record due to there being no a/v signals sent.

If its not too much trouble, could someone who also has WinDVD Creator put my theory to the test by unplugging your a/v cables & trying to "Record" without any input? I doubt its the cables because they are still quite new & look fine, but I'd appreciate it greatly if someone could confirm my suspicions before I go out & buy new a/v cables.
