  1. I was wondering if it was possible to extract the cinematics from a ps2 game? Any tips, pointers, how-tos?

The easiest way is to use a vcr to record whats happening , then using a video capture device to bring the vcr content to the pc , and convert it to what you need .

Or you could bypass vcr , and do it straight to pc via capture device ...

I prefer vcr way , just incase pc gose stupid ... or I forgot to click the record button ...

Fraps wont help if its a ps2 game unless you have a video capture device ...

    Note : pss works only with ps1 files , not ps2 ...
