  1. hi, i had download WinAvi to convert a file but after converting the file,it said i can't not get rid of the logo in the middle of my video unless i purchase the product,
so i would like to know if there is a freeware for WinAvi which i can get rid of the logo?

  2. They ask you to purchase it because it ISN'T freeware. As far as "if there's freeware for WinAvi," the question doesn't make much sense.

    Try VSO DivxToDVD. It's freeware.

EDIT: I should have said there is a freeware version available.

One would've thought that the instructions the software gave were fairly clear - you must PURCHASE to remove the logo.
    If in doubt, Google it.

2jimmalenko: Completely OT here I know, but how do you post a link like you have done with plain text showing up instead of the link itself?

I've always wondered this but never been arsed to find out, so today is the day I finally ask

  9. ok, now i came up with another question:
i use WinAVI to convert a .rmvb/rm file to avi file adding the sub as well(i had installed Vobsub), but after i finished, the sub doesn't sync with the video file.
    Does anybody know why?

From my vast experience I can tell you there is only one thing that will successfully convert Real video files into anything else without sync issues and it's EO Video + Real Alternative codecs

  11. I did use EO to convert the file but then the sub didn't show up and the file got really big (260mb-->13GB)

That's prolly because you chose to convert it to uncompressed AVI. Try converting to XviD instead and the sizes will stay under control. If it doesn't handle the subtitles, then download the subtitles as separate sub/srt format and reintegrate manually using VDub or similar.

Where do you adjust that uncompressed AVI things?
I know how to add the sub after i get the AVI file using VDub but if i do that, the sub will not sync with the new video file-->have got to adjust the sub which is i really hate, don't we have any method to use EO video to add the sub into the video while converting it or any method that fix the sub's sync problem using WinAVI?
