    ive ripped and encoded a dvd but when i try 2 play it on my dvd player it does'nt play but i can watch them on my pc, ive encoded dvd's b4 and theyve played ok does anyone have any idea what ive did differently?

    sometimes it can be something as simple as forgetting to select vcd format when you cut them, if you used tmpenc and left it in default then they will burn but not play.

    also, do your old ones still play? Maybe your palyer is going bad, that is what happened to my apex, quit playing vcd's.
