I have a pc with dual monitor support.
I am interested in setting up a tv as the second monitor on the other side of the room. Is there a way that I can have the pc use my home theater receiver by my tv without having to switch any wires or anything like that?
I am just using onboard sound at the moment so if I would have to buy a new sound card that is not a problem.
So basically what I am asking is...is there a way I can switch between my pc speakers and my home theater speakers?
And this may be pushing it as I dont think this is possible....can I use my home theater speakers to watch a video being played on my pcs 2nd monitor (tv) while my regular pc speakers still put out the regular pc audio.
Example....someone is watching a vid on the tv with only that sound coming through the theater speakers while someone is doing something on the pc and just getting there sound on the computer?
Thanks!!
