  1. What is the cheapest way to copy video from sky+ to my comp.
    I don't have a DVD writer or any video-in at the moment.
    I guess quality isn't TOO important, as i can convert a full 2-3 hour film into avi with Xvid to fit on 2 cds and be entirly satisfied with the results.
    so what is the best route to go?

  2. through experience of my own I say go with an s-video video lead and if you can use it composite audio lead, captures have improved sice gettin them for my pc

    £90 DVD recorder from ASDA..... Sky+ to DVDR then you can edit/watch on the PC...
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

  4. I'm new to dvd recorders and I am trying sky+ to dvd to pc for editing and so far bit skeptic still about it compare to capturing via s-cideo lead but hey just a case of testing and seeing what you like best aye
