    Quick questions on this unit

    1.) Will it play DivX files greater than 2 gigs burned on UDF DVD-R? Any max bitrate?

    2.) Will it play MP3 on DVD-R? (Mandom Too)
    For the love of God, use hub/core labels on your Recordable Discs!

    I have this model.

    1. I never tried anything larger than 1.7GB (no particular reason - just happened that way!)

    I suspect any DVD player *can* read Universal Disk Format (UDF) because it is commonly used for DVD ROMs.

    2. I have only burned MP3's on DVD+R but because this unit can read DVD-R I see no problems.

    The greatest problem in regards to playing MP3s on the LG is that it will not span (or scan for mp3 songs). It is one folder at a time with this unit.
