How can I create a dvd with chapters, using avi clips?

I recently cut clips out of a dvd and converted them into avi clips using chopper xp and autogk. What I want to know is how I can create a dvd with each clip being separate chapters. I want to be able to insert the dvd into any dvd player and select each chapter with ease.

I tried numerous dvd authoring programs such as nero vision, avi2dvd, ulead video, sony dvd architect, but none of them allowed me to load my avi files and create separate chapters.

Can you guys recommend the right programs for my needs and if there are any guides on this topic?

Nero Vision Express automatically creates chapters at the start of each clip. You'll see them appear when you get to creating a menu.

TMPGEnc DVD Author does the same, and you don't even need to have a menu.

I am trying nero vision express, but I can't seem to automatically make my already cut clips into chapters. I makes me skip a second into the clip in order to select the chapter starting point.
