I have this old clip I ripped off vcd. When it plays, the motion stutters and it's not fluid (plays for a few frames then freezes for a few frames) but the audio is in total sync. I tried messing around to see if I could get it to play right using tmpgenc filters and it sorta kinda worked....

I converted it to 59.94 fps using the 3:2 pulldown and "do not framerate convesion" filters. Ok, so now the motion is sped up and I'm starting to see some interlaced frames every once in a while which I never saw before but at least it's not playing choppy anymore. I could live with this as the motion looks better.

But now when I try to convert that back to 29.97 without filters and add the same exact sound back to it, my audio is always out of sync (video finishes first). I can't seem to slow it back down again. So what's the proper way to do it? I've never done 60 to 29 before. Anybody got a link to a guide using tmpgenc or virtualdub they can toss me?

(And before you guys jump on me with the rtfm's, it's 3:30 a.m. here, I'm sick with flu, and I can't find it in the All Guides section no matter how hard I look.)
