Hi,
I'd like to encode some WMVs at 400kbps and upload them to the internet. Would all kinds of broadband connections (cable, wireless, dsl) be able to handle this rate easily, or should I encode at a lower rate just to be sure.
Thanks,
George

George:
Make a high band (400-512kbs) file for fast connections and a low (64-128kbs) file for slower connections. Make the low band file smaller in width and height as well. -
I already plan to make a 28.8kbps audio version, and a 56kbps video version. I'd rather not make more than one broadband version and was wondering if 400kbps was too high for some connections like wireless.

Thank,
Since these videos are being presented for others to downland and view, I'm sure there will be many people using Windows Media Player and other players.
Is 400kpbs alright or should I encode at 300kbps? -
hmm.. you're asking someone with 4000kpbs speed! i'd say, go for it!
I am just a worthless liar,
I am just an imbecil
