I recently bought a dv camera which came with ulead video studio 7
I think iv'e figured most of it out but got one question if you could help

When i capture from the DV the file i'm creating/importing is split into small sections with transitions placed between then instead of one longer file.

Is there a setting somewhere that i can select the length of the video file being created.
any advice is appreaciated thanks..

I don't use this product, but most capture utilities have an option to capture by scene (which yours is doing) or not. Check out the help files or the capture options to see how turn this off. Even better, look at WinDV as an alternative tool for transfering your video.
