Hi I hope someone can advise me, I have attached a snap shot of what I'm referring to, basically, in the folder that I have music in, some info seems to be missing, for example the duration of the songs don't seem to be showing, I've gone through everything i can think of, I only noticed when I put the cursor over the file then seeing it only the last seconds rather than see the full track length. Please can someone advise me. Thanks

Have a read ... could also be related to windows explorer showing incorrect time ... you know how ms products work ... you cant kill one off without the other keeling over ... lol

What would happen if you re-encoded the file to a secondary mp3 using ... besweet , as a test , may indicate an issue with original encoder used .

Thats a score ... I didn't realize it was also related to winamp ... Xing problem .

Hi, thanks for your response, not sure how to go about with this. I don't think it's a Winamp issue, I installed it, and it was still showing the first few seconds in the windows explorer. I wonder if this could be a registry error somewhere perhaps ?

Winamp 5 was supposed to have the registry issue fixed .

Erunt is a registry backup tool , before you go hunting for it
Eusing , a registry cleaner , may help locate all entries ... only check those related for winamp before hitting "fix" .
