DVD to VCD ripping/frameserving problems

Ok, I use Smartripper, DVD2AVI, and TMPGEnc. So far I haven't had too many problems. With the last two DVDs I ripped, when I opened the vob files with DVD2AVI the video had skipped about the first 20 minutes of the movie(i.e. timecode 0:00 was at about 20:00 or so). The movies I had were about an hour and a half. I just checked and short 2 minute clips have a few seconds skipped from the beginning of those too. Anybody else ever encounter this problem, or does anyone have any suggestions?

I always used to use EazyVCD for my DVD to VCD conversions. This uses VStrip to rip I believe.
