I've got a set of VOB DVD files from an old movie which TMPGEnc DVD Author says are too large (about 4.9g) to fit on one DVD-r. Is there a way to reduce the size of the files to fit onto a DVD-r. (I am not sure if the sound is stereo or 5.1 )

DVD Shrink. Nuff Said.

Oog, don't do that, Shrinking something from 4.9 to 4.7 GB's should really show virtually no difference. Unless the movie is 3 hours long, then it's already compressed the hell out of, and you will notice some artifacting.

Doesnt shrink work with .iso images? I thought the newest did. If not, you could try mounting the .iso to a virtual drive and use shrink on it as if it was a regular dvd.
