I find that when I send inquiries to technical support I either rarely receive an answer, or I receive some ridiculously "canned" response that you KNOW no human has even looked AT. I find this also true with Intervideo as well. I am guessing this is because Intervideo owns 80% of Ulead.

Does anyone have any experiences with Ulead or Intervideo Technical Support they would like to share? I can't be the only one!

I had called Ulead once regarding their software and I had also called Intervideo regarding their software. I guess I reached a knowledgeable person as my issues were resolved with both calls.

    Dr. DOS,

Did you phone them? Or did you follow their "support" process in both cases? Just curious!

The intervideo was nasty and was a conflict with another proggie that they were able to diagnose and resolve

I've found their msp suite to be next to worthless. Now I hear they're "no longer going to compete with adobe". Thank god...they'll be gone in a few years.

I've never had problems with Ulead support either....never had to call them...works fine for me though I don't use it all that much.
I can't wait till Zoobie Movie Studio Pro comes out so we can rate it...

some supports really suck as they just haven't got a clue. You get better support finding an unofficial forum normally

surely it's easy money doing support work. I've seen a few advertised here and the money is decent enough but seeing as I get sick of doing family/friend support I don't think I'd enjoy it

It's boring, repetitive, menial and you have to deal with a**eholes and d**kheads. It's easy but not easy money.
