Hello im at wits end here! I have used up probably around 100 printable cd's and just cant get it!
I know epson print cd has the inner and outer settings but it seems that it will only adjust the outer setting,When i print a cd the outer setting does change when i change it but the inner pretty much stays in the same spot!!!!!!!The inner line moves but the picture stays put!!!!!!I have tried using the import picture and background...neither will move the inner hub.
I have downloaded every surething software from 3.0 to 4. something,i went to the surething forum and told them about the inner hub setting and they said to chabge it to full bleed.Did that didnt help.
THERE HAS TO BE SOME PROGRAM THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO STRETCH THE IMAGE THAT I HAVE SAVE/SCANNED???????
I have been using the r200 for about 6 months now and what i have found if i scan a disc that the hub is exactly as the one im printing on it works out ok.
Please please help

The inner/outer settings just change the size of the print area. What you actually get on the disc is still limited to the picture you actually feed it. It sounds like the labels you are loading simply don't have any picture in that inner area. What you need is any photo editor. There you can stretch the image or fill it in with color or other artwork.
You can even use Microsoft Paint. -
I know exactly what you're saying brother and I don't think there's an easy solution.
The outer setting in the Epson PrintCD software will stretch the image to the dimesion that you select. I usually select 119mm and wipe any excess off.
The inner setting is simply to tell the printer at which point to stop printing so that you don't print on the non-printable portion of the hub. It doesn't actually have an effect on the image as this would require distortion of the image.
The only solution that I have found is to do some very tedious manipulation in Paint Shop Pro to fill in the voids.
Hope this helps. -
I do 120mm outter for most every brand disc, i usually dont have a problem. for inner, on a hub printable is 24-26mm and for a nonhub printable i use 38mm

After a few tries with the Epson software that came with my r200, I deleted it.
I'm still using the EZCD software that came the EZPrint printer I bought couple of years ago. It is much better than the Epson's.
You can try it out with the demo and see if you like it.

Is there any software that will actually stretch the image?
thanks for all the tips so far! -
I think the problem is that you are selecting background (disc picture icon) and not selecting picture (square picture icon). If you select the picture icon, you can stretch the picture to any size you want.
For print area of discs, look at the sticky above
You can use a inner hub setting less than 20, but you must edit the registry to do it.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1409082233-1060284298-1417001333-500\Software\CORPUS\EPSON Print CD\Printings]
"Bore"=dword:0000000f
In this case, I have the inner hole "bore" set to 15mm. It's Hex for the dword -

Im only talking about streching in maybe 1-2cm i dont think that would destort anything. The outer can be streched and it doesnt have any effect on the image. It just wont print all the way to where the printable media is....leaves me with a white circle!

well if you have the picture all the way to the edge in the program on the screen, and it still prints out blank circle around the edge then you need to adjust the inner/outer diameter settings, that can be found in the File tab for Epson Print CD. I set it anywhere from 118 to 120mm

Take a ruler and measure the hub. Is the diameter less than 20 mm? That's as low as the Epson software allows. If it's less than 20 mm, try Stiltman's hack:

You definitely need to use a photo editor to make this work. I use the smudge tool in PhotoImpact to "smear" colors into the center of some disc images - I have also copied & pasted parts of the dvd image into the center. When all else fails, I insert a circle (about 35mm diameter) into the center of the hub on the photograph - centering both vertically & horizontally - and attempt to match the color(s) of the photo closely. While not perfect, it usually results in an acceptable finished disc - at least you don't have the original plastic center messing things up.

Have you tried cloning, in Adobe photoshop it has cloning which is one the best things ever created, part of the other side of picture can be shifted or copied or blended into other parts.

Yeah, yeah, is that the best you can do? We've all seen that stock image floating around the internet for years now. You're just pissed because my little animated STFU gif really is of you.
Anyway, why don't we call a truce now and put an end to this, OK? -
And, the "I farted" posts arent random at all. if you didnt have your head up ur ass you would have seen the commonality in all of them. So, your cute gif images dont do a lot for you as far as common sense goes.
And, OMG what are you like 12 ? Im pissed because you can do a gif image with stfu on it? LMFAO. You need a girl there buddy. -
You're upset. I understand. This doesn't need to continue. Just say the word and I'll take your picture down. No hard feelings.
