  1. Hi, When I convert fansubbed video from avi to vcd sometimes the subtitiles are cut off from the bottom of the screen. Ive just been using the project wizard and sticking with the default resolutions it gives me. The only thing i change is I make it "full screen keep aspect ratio". I was told it was for the best to do it that way. Anyway, is there any simple way to pad my video to rid myself of the overscan without messing up the aspect ratio or anything like that?

    Thanks

Do a forum search on "fansub overscan".

The secret is to add black borders around your video
    If in doubt, Google it.

Also should mention there is a 'Subtitle Forum' here: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=44

You can search that forum or just browse through it.

  4. wow, I did thats earch and found more than enough information. I found a program called FitCD that does the overscan calculation for you....I think on FitCD one "block" is like 8 pixels...it works nicely. Thanks for the help
