  1. Hello

I downloaded an AVI-file with Emule.
During the download I previewed the file. It was OK. It was no fake.

But after the download is finished ..
A player cannot display the AVI-file. It hangs!

Do you know why? This is the only file, which is strange ..

GSpot, AVIcodec, Window Media Player, BSplay and Zoom Player .. all hang!

    What can I do?
    Thank you.

Oh course this was not a commercial movi release right?

But after the download is finished ..
A player cannot display the AVI-file. It hangs!
Lesson learned. Quit downloading from places like E-mule. Learn to make your own legal backups from your own purchased DVDs.

Have their crap is encoded with Lord nows what so it's no surprice to me you can't play it.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

I would suggest buying the movie (if it is commercial).

I would suggest that there's a lot of stuff available on P2P that isn't warez

Try loading the file into virtualdub, and doing a direct stream copy on both video and audio. This will rewrite the (I suspect) corrupt headers.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  7. Yeah ...
Any Movie --> 1 VCD The TMPGEnc Way

Because my DVD-player cannot play AVI/MPG-files.
I'm curious how good the quality is. Thanks.
