That is correct. Some options have been removed and added throughout the various builds.

that option tab is now gone. The options/settings are now available from the toolbar.

Well that option was only ever for half-D1 AVI conversions.... i.e encodings wherer the bitrate was less than 3000kbs. To achive the same "setting" add the following string in your registry:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Badger I.T.\SVCD2DVD 2.0\Settings\Process\AVI2HALFD1

    with a value of "WS"

    I goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Badger I.T.\SVCD2DVD 2.0\Settings\Process\AVI2HALFD1

    with a value of "Fs"

so your saying just change the Fs to Ws and that will put the option back?

Yes but that option only comes into effect when you have AVI assets of a total duration which would mean that the encoded bitrate is less than 3000kbs i.e over 2 hours+ of avi material.

ok well that does me no good then ,why is it that when I convert any mpegs to dvd and I play it on a smaller tv its ok if I put it on my larger tv theres problems with the picture being to the lower left and widescreen. I can change the tv to 4x3 /16x9 /all the differant settings and I get the same problem.

I have the older version and I did a movie at my buddys with that 1 works fine on my tv but I can't reg the older version because I think he downloaded with his username.I hit cancel and enter my info but it doesn't register just closes that window.I guess I bought something that don't work. And I know what ever options we had set on his works like a champ and alot of them options are not in my version so i'm screwed .

thanks alot for the refund, this program would be great if it worked like the version my buddy has, and I was able to watch dvds made on all tv sets large small, but olny being ever to watch dvds I made with svcd2dvd 2.0 on a 20" tv is crazy when I have a 42" flat screen. If there was a setting in svcd2dvd to use full or wide screen with mpg conversion ,or maybe a check box for 4x3 or 16x9, I tell all my buddys to buy this to convert there 2 -3 cd disk to 1 dvd-r .it is a great dream that this svcd2dvd will once again work like my buddies.and one would be ever to choose the options needed to watch on all tv's
