    Hello!

I want to create a DVD out of my DV AVI Files using Premiere Pro. So I used to import all the clips, Auomated to Sequence and Exported as Mpeg2.

This doesn't work correctly if you have done some editing and have set In- and Out-Points. To encode the whole material I have, I have to set all the In- and Out-Points I've set on over 300 Clips. The "Clear In- and Out-Markers" doesn't work if you have more than one Clip selected.

    Any trick/solution to this?

    Hi Knief,

    Welcome to the forums.

Hmmm.... Interesting - I guess it should be possible.

Have you tried the "Clear In- and Out-Markers" with no clips selected?

Have a hunt around, or even post, in the forums at www.wrigleyvideo.com/videotutorial - it is a great site for most video / audio related Adobe products.

I use Premiere Pro 1.5.1 - I'll try to have a look when I get home.

If you find the answer, please post back - I'm sure it'll be useful for others.

    Good luck...

    hi daamon

tried it with no clips selected. Everything is disabled in the Markers Menu. I also tried to do it selecting the bin including the clips - no chance.

I'll try it in the other forum .. thanks for helping!

No problem. Good luck. I'll have a play tonight and get back to you with anything useful...

So, to confirm and make sure I understand correctly, you've got a load of clips each with In and Out markers. You want to clear all the markers for all clips?

    Hi Knief,

Sorry for my delay in replying.

I've had a play in Premiere Pro 1.5 and I've decided I'm not quite sure how to set it up so that I have the same problem as you.

Can you describe in more detail or provide a screen print? There are a number of markers that can be used, and I'm confused by your reference to "In and Out" markers...

As far as I know (I'm self-taught, so may well be missing something) "In and Out" markers denote the start and end points of a section of footage, or for individual clips. Why would you want to clear these? It doesn't make sense. Like I say - I may be missing something obvious...

Personally, i wouldn't automate to timeline, but rather overlay onto track from your source monitor...
Secondly, in and out points, are for lifting or extracting..
Can i assume you mean the work area bar??

Why don't you click and drag over all the clips, right click on the timescale, and pick clear all in and out points??

    Good luck!!
