    hi i have 2 xvid mpeg4 avi films,when i used winavi to convert it was choppy as the frame rate was 15 f/p/s, so i used dvd2svcd and tmgenc encoder,but when i authored it took seconds and the resulting dvd folder was around 2.85 mb ,any ideas why,this is
    i do have tmpgenc express 3.0,would this help??

  2. Obviously, something went wrong.

    Have you scanned for bad frames? Checked for VBR audio?

    The number of things which can go wrong with downloaded XVIDs is just too numerous to mention.

  3. With a 15 fps source how can you expect to get good results? 15 FPS means many frames were chucked out and no good way to get them back. Throw those 15FPS AVIs in the scrap heap.

    As to your question it was less than 3 megs because something went wrong during the encoding.
