  1. I have BeSweet and BeSweet GUI on my computer. It works perfectly. I put the programs on my friend's computer and it refuses to convert my WAV files to AC3.

I look at the BeSweet log, and it says... well, here's a quote:
    BeSweet v1.4 by DSPguru.
    --------------------------
    Using Shibatch.dll v0.2 by Naoki Shibata & DSPguru (shibatch.sourceforge.net).
Error 73: Unable to get ac3enc.dll interfaces
    Quiting...
    [00:00:00:000] Conversion Completed !
    Logging ends : 09/19/05 , 19:28:38.
I tried changing to a newer version of BeSweet. (I have an older version, but prefer it to the newest one) and I got the same problem.
What could I possibly do to fix this problem?

note: here is some of his system info:
    Windows XP Home w/ SP2
    Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.8Ghz
    1GB of RAM
    ~200GB free HDD space

    Hi iThinkYouBrokeIt,

Reading that, if it were me, I'd find and download a trusted ac3enc.dll file. Quite where to put it? Somewhere in the BeSweet folders?

Search for the file in your Windows Explorer and see where it is. Put it in the same place on your friends PC.

Try searching these forums for just ac3enc.dll - someone's bound to have had the same problem...

Of course, you could always use ffmpeggui - it's simple and uses the same AC3 encoder to produce AC3 audio.
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
