    Hey does anyone know if there is a way to play divx moviez on dvd players. I mean what is the point of going throught all this to make one little movie. Someone should come up with someway to get avi on dvd player. Or does anyone know if the DVD Manufacuturs are gonna make there players have DivX it would be some much easier

    that's why I stick with SVCD got 400+...and had only like 2 or 3 divx movies. The reason DIVX is popular is obvious and doesn't need to be stated. I ain't jimmy rigging my living room with my computer..ain't gonna happen in this lifetime. I enjoy SVCD on a pioneer dvd player on a 32" wega.

    sigma designs makes an mpeg4 decoder chip, but i am not aware of any products that use it yet
    THIS IS HARDCORE
