  1. Hi, guys (and girls)!
Suddenly, XP stopped reading DVD+R media, even those recorded by myself. I have 2 recorders (LG 4081 and Pioneer A06) and both are unable to read DVD+R media. They can read -R, -RW +RW and LG one can read DVD-RAM. Also, they record all kind of media and pass in Nero's verify test after record. In 98SE I can read all kind of media too in both recorders with no problem. It seems a software problem, doesn't it?
Does anybody know why it's happening?
    Thanks in advance.
    Rafael.

Ok first the simple stuff. Have you rebooted or shut down yet? Sometimes it could just be a hangup somewhere.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  3. I've used that "NASA's technology" many times, I've removed devices from Device Manager, re-installed VIA 4x1, etc...
As I said, in 98SE everything works fine.

All of my drives on the Window's XP stoped recognizing disks. I kept getting please insert media. When I put media in the tray and inserted it the light to the tray would blink than nothing. I found out that it was AnyDVD and DVD43 that were causing the problems. I only activate them when I am burning copy protectected media.

  5. I don't have that kind of software installed here. I'm going to check programs in startup to see if there is anything weird.
    Thanks a lot.
