  1. I have a zipped 790 meg file. When unzipped, I get a key generator file, a .cue file and a .bin file (722 meg .bin file). Will that .bin file be able to fit onto a regular (700 meg) CD-R disk? First time to try to burn these and need to have some basic info. Newbie and all that. Thanks for your patience and your help.

PS: I guess the key generator should be left off of the que for burning??

  2. You will need to pick up an image burning prgram such as FireBurner or CDRWin. Load the .cue and the program will load the .bin file for burning. Then burn! You image will fit soundly on a 700mb/80min CDR. You will not need to burn the keygen but keep it handy for when you install.

  3. There are a number of proggies that can burn CUE/BIN images. I wrote a guide on how to do so with several proggies here: http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd/burning_cuebin_images.html

I would suggest that you try CDRDAO + XDuplicator (GUI) as it is freeware and works quite well.

When you load the CUE/BIN image with the various proggies, they should tell you the exact length of the image. If the image is less than 74min, then it should fit on 650MB/74min media. If the image is less than 80min, then it should fit on 700MB/80min media.

    Regards.
