I found this great site on the net as a resource for anyone interested in Independent Film. I talked to the site creator and he sent me an intro email.
I know many of you are involved in, worked on,
created, acted in, shot, produced, edited, or just plain appreciate
independent film. Me too, so to help everyone keep tabs on what is
happening, I've created a place where people can do just that. Find
volunteers, find actors, find just about anything dealing with the
whole process of independent films - not everything is available yet,
but as we grow, more topics and areas will be developed based on your
input. As this grows; and it can only grow by attracting members; it
could become an outlet for your films, for your work, and for your
talents. Collaborating with other people with similar interests is
fun! And here's your chance to be part of that.
I think you all would enjoy taking part in this, if not just for
fun. It doesn't cost a thing to join, and will take about a minute
to sign up. Heck, I'll sign you up if you want, just email me back
letting me know that you are interested. I hope to see all of you on
the boards, and if you have suggestions for areas of discussion,
please email me.
And, if you have gotten this far and still haven't hit the delete
button, but still aren't going to sign up, thanks for your time
anyway, I'd love to hear from everyone.
