Are you wanting to just play the AVI on your G3?
Does your G3 have FW? if so just transfer the video
over FW from the iBook to the G3.

Or are you asking how to make it a VCD ( Video CD)
that you can play on your iMac?

I'm stumped as to what you want..please elaborate.

  4. See page 64 in the Toast 7 manual - making a Video CD. You do have the manual right?

Or go to the How To section on the left and look up avi to VCD.
Or at the top of this very page under the Stickies
    posted by Galactica and Tgpo.

The AVI will mux down to MPEG-1, which will be smaller
than native .avi, and essential for VCD. Follow our tutorials and it will work...
