  1. Hello everyone, I converted a .avi into 4 different VOB files using DivXtoDVD, I Then burnt it onto a DVD using InterVideo WinDVD. THe .AVI version is really good quality, even when I transfered all the VOB files and I was watching the video play while it said, Making Movie.... the quality was excellent, and it was Wide Screen. But now when I watch it in the DVD player the video is good quality but there are huge black bars and you only have alittle strip where u can see the video playing, its like a full screen but worse because there is even less visual then usual, also the picture is slighly stretched out. ANyideas on how to fix this? I Burnt it NTFS 2 Hour DVD, I set it to 1 hour, but it wouldn't fit on 1 DVD. Thanks.

  2. i convert my avi's using TMPG enc Express, then i author them to DVD format using TMPG enc author, i get good results, but there is a few steps to take before you have your finished DVD, however if you want to keep the process simple you could always use a program like Cucusoft AVI to VCD,DVD,MPEG converter.
