  1. Hello all,

    I have a video file:

    Video: XVID 640x480 23.98fps [Stream 00]
Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 48000Hz stereo 128Kbps [Stream 01]

Their is quite obviously a audio stream in there and i have ferenhouffers, lame , and a few othe mp3 audio codecs and yet i never get any audio in playback or conversion.

I know its hard to figure out what codec is required with that genaric info so if you know of a way to get more detailed info to solve the problem let me know how.

    Thanks!

Have you tried dropping it in Gspot 2.52? It should tell you the required codecs. Or try playing it with VLC Media Player, as it has it's own codecs and can play most anything.

    And welcome to our forums.

Maybe you have TOO MANY codecs and they are conflicting with each other.
