MPEG transport stream

Hi all,

I'm new here. I am new in the field of digital video also. Now I'm reading books about MPEG-2, MPEG-4 formats, and trying to understand transport/program stream structure.
Can anybody suggest me the software to generate a MPEG transport stream with all the tables and service information (PMT, PAT, CAT ....)

Can you tell us more about your end goals? I'm assuming you're looking into certain aspects of telecasting (cable? satellite? web network?) and/or broadcast engineering, but unless we have a better idea of your objectives, it's hard to know how to help.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am studying digital broadcasting (especially DVB-T, DVB-C, DVB-S standard) and the first thing I want to understand what it is MPEG Transport Stream. I want to understand how multiplexing multiple programs and how generating the MPEG Transport Stream. And I decided that the best way to understand this, create a MPEG TS myself by software. Could you offer me a some books to read or some software to create the TS.
