i just bought a new lite-on (SOHW-1693SO6C) dual layer dvd burner on newegg.com and installed it and everything cool..i can burn regular cd's and single layer dvd's just fine, but for some reason dual layers will fail every time. sometimes they will start burning, and then stop. i am using the nero OEM suite 3 which came with the burner..the actual program i use to burn is nerovision express 2. i am burning .mpeg videos onto dvd. they have worked flawlessly on single layer dvds. i upgraded to nero vision express 3 and the new nero 6 reloaded and that only made burning dual layer worse. it started to fail in the transcoding process. the media i am using is fujifilm dvd+r DL. i also upgraded the firmware in my burner per recommendation from lite-on tech support. still doesn't work. i'm thinking its just the software that is not letting me burn dual layer. please help. thank you for your time.

have you tried only using NVE3 to create an image of the finished project [saved as NRG/burn to image recorder], then burning the NRG with dvd decrypter.
