  1. I'm encoding alot in CVD resolution at 2520 CBR.
    Should I use MPEG1 or MPEG2 ?
    Which one produces better quality at that fixed bitrate ?

    Mpeg2 will work better. If you used mpeg1 it wouldn't be standard for anything. It would be a xvcd and might not be burnable without reencoding.

    I doubt if you'd notice a difference, but why don't you do both and see which one you think is best ?
