  1. What the hell! I have an .avi with a FPS of 15.000 according to GSpot.

According to AVIcodev, the FPS is 14.999.

What the hell do I do now?

I want to encode this puppy to .mpeg for a dvd, but I am unsure how. I just used the film machine with CCE SP, and it fails with an error

"Frame Rate 10000000/666667 is not supported"

So, what do I do? Do I changed the .avis framerate, and if so, how?

What's the source of the AVI? Sounds like a bad rip, with the settings wrong.

    No such thing.
It's either a DVD ripped source. Or a tv capture.
There is no "tv rip" of any kind.
