Hello all. Hopin someone knows something about the problem I'm facing. Tried many things with no success.
I have an HD 50 fps .flv (1.2gb) documentary that i wish to play on my original XBOX running XBMC but it has sync issues. The original file plays fine with no sync issues in VLC on my PC and on a MAC.
I've tried cutting flv into smaller parts=sync issues in vlc & xbmc.
Tried converting with handbrake (mac) and avidemux in pc=sync issues in both again.
Tried converting in ffmpegx (mac) and it didnt like the flv file. It provided "0x0003" in video info window and would not convert to anything that would play (avi, mp4, and others)
Tried flv extract and both avi and mp3 times were exact. Threw both thru vdub thru use of 2-5 year old guides=sync issues in both

The sync issue is always slightly off at first then progressively gets further off in any file i make but the original running in vlc.
I'm no expert but I'm thinkin it may be due to the 50fps.

Mediainfo spat out this:
Video:Fps-true=50.0156
avg=49.8414
1700kbps 854x480 suggested cropping 10px from tight
Audio: 128kbps 44.1khz, 2 chan mp3

I've been trying this for 2 days straight exctracting and encoding day and night. Driving me nuts.
Any suggestions?
