  1. I am running XP and cant capture in higher resolution than x288. When I had Windows ME it worked fine and I could capture in full resolution. I have tried with different capture software but them all syas the same: "Unsupported Video Format". I think it is strange because the card worked fine in Windows ME. I have download the latest drivers but I still can't capture above x288. I think it has somethin to do with the WDM driver that XP uses. Is there someway to use VFW drivers instead of WDM in Windows XP ? Do anyone have a solution ?

    Please help me

  2. That's XP for ya. I have a Pinnacle Studio Pro card and XP wouldn't even recognize it at all. Gee Whiz Billy Boy Gates....thought XP was supposed to be the Super Duper multimedia OS. "Blah!!!..." I switched back to 2K and all is well again. If your hardware is older than 2 weeks old....XP probably won't work with it.

    WDM driver should be Ok.
Try to use DirectShow application for capturing (like iuVCR, FlyDS, amcap) - you will be able to capture at ###x576.
but under xp you can have other problems, like a/v out of sync etc.

  4. Thanks ! For the help !
The DirectShow capture programs worked fine! With high resolution, and "iuVCR" seems to be a good capture program.
