  1. i have a foreign xvid video file that has a subtitle file and when it is played with windows media player, the english audio and japanese audio are played at the same time. i used virtualdub mod to extract the 2 audio streams into AC3s.

i used tmpgenc to encode the xvid into .m2v

i tried using tmpgenc dvd author to author it, but it doesnt give me the option to allow more than 1 audio tracks for the video.

what program will allow me to author an .m2v and 2 .ac3s to dvd?

so i could change the audio track during the movie. (english audio, or japanese audio)

Free tools like IfoEdit and DVDAuthorGUI will author a DVD with more than one audio track.

  5. use virtualdub mod to get those audio tracks.(demux)

and convert video file only thru Tmpeg.

then u can use an authoring program to mux them..

I prefer to use dvd-lab. its pretty simple to add additional audio tracks and subtitles.

this way u can get quality video of Tmpeg and keep original audio track(s)
