  1. I recently acquired an Elite Video BVP-4 Plus at a local auction. I got the demo DVD from Elite Video and the equipment came with a manual. After watching the demo dvd and reading the manual countless times over the past two weeks I hooked the BVP-4 up (the chain is jvc svhs-9911 to vidicraft II detailer to BVP-4 to jvc dvd recorder DR M10S). Now with all the knobs in the default position as suggested on the demo dvd, the screen is split into two- before and after- . The problem is that the after image is completely white, I mean paper white. I have played with the chain in various arrangements and played with the knobs all to no avail. since this was an auction I bought it as is. So I am asking for help from anyone with an experience in using BVP-4 as to what possibly could be wrong.

Below are some screen captures...I hope they show..

    Can someone please help......

  2. Thanks Lordsmurf for your reply. I read and tried what the article suggested but it not resolve the problem. Any further suggestions would still be appreciated. I wish I could upload a screen capture for you to see, hopefully that would help.

  4. Thanks again for the reply. If it is broken, which I suspect it is, do you know of any company that can fix it?
