  1. Ive captured some video in MPEG-1 352x240 (VCD res) from a home VHS, and would like to author it onto DVD. Now I know the basic dvd structure, I know it uses MPEG-2 as well (i think 720x480), and about the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders.

I figured the easiest way to do it would be with nero's dvd video tools, or maybe nerovision express which i still need to play with. but assuming im using nero, it wont let me add my MPG file because obviously its not IFO/VOB format. I thought it would take the mpeg and make it the correct format but apparently not (figured mpeg was better than avi with some silly codec).

If i capture it as MPEG 2 say 480x480 or 720x480 will that make it easier, or is my file fine and im just missing some clue? Please let me know, thanks.

MPEG-1 352x240 should work fine, try something else than nerovision crap express like tmpgenc dvd author.
