  1. Whats a good program to downsize a WMV file, keeping it WMV? I've tried Move Maker and Blaze Media Pro. I can get it to the size I want, but when I goto save, it asks me to choose from a pre-defined setting, none of which I want.

I want to be able to change video size, framerate, and bitrate (downsize) and then just be able to save the WMV file like that.

Windows Media Encoder, you have to set up a custom profile. Never really used Movie Maker but you should be able to that in MM as well.

    Here's guide here: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=244268

Edit: doesn't appear you can set up custom profile in MM unless I missed it somewhere, anyhow Windows Media Encoder gives you ervery conceivable option.
