What is the issue with the audio? I ripped Titanic with SmartRipper and DVD2AVI no problems.

JHerbert,
After doing the rip(VOB's), and going into the DVD2AVI program, you usually get two passes, the video part, than the audio part, I only get one pass, the video part than DVD2AVI says finished, I never have a problem with any other Movie but Titanic has got me stumped, I am amazed you didn't encounter the problem, any advice ??? -
#1, if now .wav file is created by dvd2avi, u need to select a different track...i believe the default track 1 has the audio u need (audio->track->track 1)
#2, however, since titanic is a hella long movie, the .wav file created by dvd2avi is too big to be played by media player and won't be able to be added to the dvd rip by tmpgenc...wut i did is to separate the vobs into two groups and do the procedures (dvd2avi frameserve to tmpgenc) as if they were 2 separate movies...this way the .wav file created will be small enough for media player to play it and tmpgenc will encode the audio fine.
